When I’m asked “Why NSI?”, what comes to mind are the faces of the people on our team. It’s funny because, when we opened back in 1985, some of these baby faces hadn’t even been born yet!

What’s our secret sauce? To put it simply, it's been our ability to anticipate our customer's needs. My dad, Vince McDonald, started NSI with this motto, “Old-Fashioned service from Today’s Computer Company.” And when customers asked for more, we obliged by offering asset management, cloud migrations, help desk, and more recently, we're all about cyber security. 

Today our motto is “Helping our clients succeed” because, well, that's what we're all about.

What is a Managed Service Provider (MSP)?
We are a Managed Services Provider, a company that provides partially or fully outsourced IT support, strategy and consulting, and cyber security services.
What if we have internal technical support staff?
Some clients have a designated IT support person or IT department. They rely on NSI for critical IT help desk functions, some technical projects, cyber security protection, and sometimes for advanced applications support.
What if we have a network or technical problem after business hours or over the weekend?
Our Client Center is always open, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. Call us anytime.
Why does NSI have a Help Desk?
In most cases, our Help Desk can solve IT problems remotely, without an on-site visit by your assigned technical consultant.
What are your pricing plan term options?
Our pricing plans are viewable here. Every plan includes cyber security protection. We offer flexible and affordable for two-year, one-year and month-to-month (no commitment) service plan options to meet the different needs of our customers.  Your organization will receive the same commitment to great support no matter which option you choose.
Do we use subcontractors?
No, all of our technicians are NSI employees working from our office in Naugatuck, Connecticut. We train together, share learnings and client satisfaction is a shared responsibility. This approach helps our technicians get a deeper understanding of clients’ needs, goals, and challenges.
Is my company the right size?
NSI specializes in providing high quality IT support services to small and medium-size businesses from CT. And each services plan is designed for a different range of "seats," or computer/network users. Most clients have between 10 to 250 users, but these can be scaled up or down to accommodate any size business. Larger businesses may want to take advantage of our project consulting and staff augmentation services.
