NSI president and Xerox CEO Come Together to Promote the Partner Channel in CRN article

Ursula Burns Is Pushing Xerox Into Managed Print Services
Xerox has been undergoing lots of changes over the past few years, with CEO Ursula Burns heading the helm for the past 2 years, she has changed Xerox from the inside out in hopes to transform them from just a printer/toner manufacturer, into a more diverse IT provider that utilizes the Partner Channel.

“A lot has changed. Xerox has been working on transforming the company. We’re confident we have the right strategy, the competitive advantage and a disciplined focus on executing,

Burns has been pushing for a better way to utilize the partner channel, something that they have had trouble competing against companies like HP and Lexmark, but with new releases of their products, along with a better transparency they have been able to transform themselves and have been receiving praise from companies in the IT channel. NSI president, Tom McDonald praised Xerox at their last press conference,

“They’ve done an excellent job rolling this stuff out to the partner community,” said Tom McDonald, “They listened to the channel and they took action. Xerox is giving us an opportunity to go out and talk to new customers now. This is like a hunting license from them.”

Xerox’s new portfolio mixed with their new Program, eConcierge Powered by Xerox, has given partners the tools in order to generate new business and expand into territories that were previously unattainable under Xerox’s old model 4 years ago. This new cooperation from Xerox and the partner channel is a win for everyone, especially the customer, who is now able to get Xerox products through their preferred MSP, with the added benefit of Xerox’s eConcierge program.
