No Gamble For Mohegan Sun Virtual Infrastructure & SAN Solution From NSI |

 NSI has completed the installation of a virtual
infrastructure and SAN (Storage Area Network) infrastructure solution at the Mohegan Sun Resort
Casino in Uncasville.Mohegan Sun wanted to upgrade its storage capacity and further control server costs through centralized management. As the casino’s IT service provider, NSI conducted a server consolidation study and determined that the VMware suite of virtual IT solutions would be the best fit for redesigning server implementation. A necessary component of the project was a SAN solution. “For nearly seven months we worked closely with IBM and McData to configure the best set of software, switches, and discs based on Mohegan Sun’s SAN requirements,” said Tom McDonald, NSI Chief Operating Officer. “It was a team effort from start to finish.”
