E-mail Security Has Arrived
IBM Responds with New Innovative Solution

A unique and affordable E-mail Security Service has arrived from IBM’s SMB Express Portfolio.

The IBM E-mail Security Service is designed to help users mitigate the risks inherent in e-mail communications through a comprehensive suite of services that scan and monitor e-mail before it reaches their network.

The IBM managed service provides four modular options that intercept and dispose of e-mails containing viruses, spam, pornography and undesired content, offering better protection and faster response to emerging threats than can be achieved in-house, and at a lower cost than other e-mail security offerings.

“The reliability and dependability of this system will give our customers true peace of mind that their e-mail is free from unwanted content,” said Bill Thompson, NSI Vice President. “It’s better than other e-mail security solutions because of its reliability, intelligence, performance, and affordability.”

The IBM E-mail Security Service is incredibly simple to implement, reducing installation time to a matter of days, while providing a full array of benefits not easily implemented with other systems. It provides a virtually instantaneous ability to contain viruses, and uses artificial intelligence to quickly identify patterns and determine whether they are suspect. The service improves network and system performance by intercepting large volumes of unwanted mail, puts an end to manual filtering of unwanted mail, and eliminates the need to hire and train additional staff to administer the system.

“Another great aspect of this is that our customers save money,” said Thompson. “They only pay for what they use, on a pay-per-user basis, and they don’t have to purchase additional hardware and software, or hire and train new staff.”
