Litigation Support Firm Saves Space, Gains Productivity

NSI has partnered with ClearCube Technology, the market leader and pioneer in PC blade computing, to deliver greater utilization of computing power and workspace to The Oliver Group of Pawcatuck, Connecticut, a litigation support and data recovery firm.

As experts in computer forensics, The Oliver Group's proprietary approach to media restoration lends itself to high volume processing, data integrity, flexibility across platforms and output formats, and data security.

“We needed a way to fully utilize all the computing power we had and still have room for expansion as we continue to grow,” said Brian Oliver, owner, The Oliver Group. “With the help of NSI and ClearCube, we are able to save money on power consumption and free administrator time on managing our systems. As we continue to expand, we'll include ClearCube PC Blades in our growth and refresh cycles.”

The ClearCube solution allows companies to take the computer off the user's desk, shrink it to a PC Blade, centralize the blades in a secure location, and use software tools to remotely manage and switch between computers and users. ClearCube's management software enables a “touchless IT” environment wherein IT managers can remotely manage and control global desktop deployments. By deploying ClearCube, customers realize 99.9% uptime, stronger data and physical security, and at least a 30% reduction in support costs while providing end users with a full PC or workstation experience.

“The Oliver Group was in a situation we see many of our customers in – at real estate capacity but not realizing the full potential of its computing assets,” said Peter Simpson, NSI Account Executive. “We immediately saw the return on investment that ClearCube PC Blades could provide and were able to work together with ClearCube to provide a customized solution that can grow with The Oliver Group.”
