New Senior Support Specialist |

NSI is pleased to announce that Jim Gill has joined our team as a
Senior Support Specialist.
Jim delivers a rare wealth of knowledge to NSI customers, not only with his technical expertise and experience, but
also in his unique ‘customer-centric' perspective.
Beyond his elite status as an IBM Subject Matter Expert and his 16-IBM certifications, Jim Gill has spent most of
his career on the ‘front lines' building and running IT departments for large national companies. All but one of his jobs has been on the customer-side of the information technology industry.
“Seeing a situation from both sides is a great help to me,” Gill says. “This allows me to instill a confidence in
the customer that I have been there and that I can relate to their situation.”
Jim Gill is considered an authority regarding IBM server and storage solutions. He has participated in the design
of most of the iSeries V5R2 and V5R3 certification exams, taking part in approximately a dozen of these sessions
that are coordinated by the IBM education group based in Rochester MN.
Gill has led teams on a variety of highly complex and challenging projects, from designing a new i595 System with
more than a dozen partitions (AIX & Linux) on multiple servers for one of the largest commercial transportation
carriers in the United States to configuring a new i520 System utilizing MIMIX for a regional hospital.
Jim Gill brings all of his technical knowledge, industry contacts, and understanding of customer needs to bear for
NSI and those we serve.
