SonicWALL Named Company of the Year For Security Appliances SonicWALL, Inc. has been named winner of the Security Appliances category in CMP Media’s VARBusiness Annual Report Card (ARC) award program. SonicWALL was recognized by solution-provider readers of CMP Media’s VARBusiness for outstanding satisfaction levels that it provides to them. The company received its award from the biweekly magazine that provides strategic insight to technology integrators, at an awards ceremony held on Aug. 23, at the XChange ’05 Conference in Orlando, Fla. Now in its 20th year, the VARBusiness ARC Awards recognize outstanding partner programs in 19 product and service categories including desktop computers, servers, storage management, Internet application server software and networking hardware. Winners were selected based on the survey results of more than 5,000 systems integrators, IT consulting organizations, value-added resellers (VARs), solution providers and software developers. “We are honored to receive the prestigious VARBusiness Annual Report Card award from our channel partners for the second year running,” said Matthew Medeiros, president and chief executive officer of SonicWALL.“This is a strong indication that we are we delivering the necessary technology, tools and support to help our partners to grow their businesses. The quality of our relationships with our channel continues to be a cornerstone of SonicWALL’s success.” Research was conducted by Bernett Research Services, a Boston-based data collection company, and Answers Research, the Solana Beach, Calif.-based market research and consulting firm.
