| NSI VP Still Scoring for Legendary Coach |

Anyone acquainted with NSI Vice President Bill Thompson knows he is a man of action who throws himself completely into any project he takes on.

The same is true for his work in support of his alma mater, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. Bill, co-captain of the Academy’s undefeated 1963 football team, is one of the key players in the annual golf tournament honoring his coach, Hall of Famer Otto Graham.
Last year’s inaugural event raised more than $40-thousand
to support and recognize US Coast Guard Academy cadet
athletic programs.
“It was an amazing accomplishment for a first-time
tournament but even more impressive is that it showed
the continued commitment that Academy Alumni and
Friends have to the success of the Academy,” Thompson
said.
This year’s Otto Graham Golf Classic will take place Thursday, June 18 at the Fox Hopyard Golf Club in
East Haddam, Connecticut.
