NSI is proud to announce the appointment of Thomas McDonald as President of NSI, succeeding Vincent McDonald who will assume the position of Chairman.
“Tom has proven he is the right person to lead our company into its third decade,” said Vincent McDonald who founded NSI in 1985. “Under Tom's direction of day-to-day operations these past three and a half years we have experienced robust growth during a time of change.”
Since 2002 Thomas McDonald has been NSI's Chief Operating Officer, leading the company's launch into the delivery of Managed Services, as well as many other cutting edge initiatives.
“I look forward to building on the many years of success already established by my father, and will continue to devote myself to NSI's guiding principle of delivering the latest technology solutions with traditional service,” Thomas McDonald said. “Our goal is to increase NSI's position as the northeast's leading technology service provider, by delivering outstanding service and solutions.”
Mr. McDonald has risen through the ranks since joining NSI in 1992 as a parts courier. Since then he has served as parts manager, account executive, and director of professional services, in addition to Chief Operating Officer, learning all aspects of the business from the ground up.
McDonald holds certifications for the IBM iSeries and in IBM Strategic Selling. He is a 1991 graduate of Saint Michael's College. |
