Companies spend billions of dollars on security systems to safeguard confidential information, but as we have seen in Connecticut recently securing laptops remains a serious matter.
A couple of weeks ago Aetna disclosed it will be alerting 38,000 subscribers whose member information was in a laptop computer stolen recently from an employee's vehicle in a parking lot. Each affected subscriber will be contacted with information on how to access a credit-monitoring service.
This is the latest in a series of security breaches tied to laptops involving such companies as Ameriprise Financial Inc., Boeing Co. and Verizon Communications Inc.
NSI can provide you with the information and tools you need to secure your laptops with full disk encryption, AV, Firewalls, and more.
