One sportswriter called it "the greatest gathering of world-class athletes the region has ever seen" and our own Director of Purchasing, Bob Walker, was among them.
Bob recently took part in the first ‘Revolution 3 Half Ironman' in
Middlebury, Connecticut. Among the competitors were Olympians,
world champions and more than 40 professional triathletes from
around the globe.
We are proud to report that Bob came in 57th overall, while his team
of three people came in 7th out of 33rd teams.
The winners took home $16,000 each from the $100,000 in prize
money, while Bob Walker took home the pride and satisfaction of
knowing he competed well with the world's best.
