Custom Bottle Manufacturing of Naugatuck, Connecticut faced a dilemma; their IT expert was leaving the company and they could either replace him or outsource the work.
After some investigation and analysis the decision was a no brainer – NSI TotalCare.
"On an annualized basis this will save a lot of money," said Barry Lerman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Custom Bottle.
In fact, the move will ultimately save even more money than anticipated.
Through virtualization, NSI reduced the number of servers needed to run the network from 13 to 5, while also simplifying the way data is routed.
"They have made our systems much more stable," Lerman said. "There's less firefighting on a day to basis."
Today, the bottle manufacturer is no longer dependent on just one person to keep their IT running; no more worries about what happens during that person's vacations and sick days, not to mention even faster repairs when they're needed.
