Most of us know him as NSI's soft-spoken and highly resourceful Director of Purchasing. But Bob Walker leads a double life.
When not in search of the best deals for our customers, Bob is a hard driving and highly acclaimed cyclist.
Earlier this month Bob (photo at right) and the Bethel Cycle Racing
Team earned 1st Place in Connecticut's Griskus Olympic Triathlon 2008 Team Category.
Congratulations Bob!
This is one of more than a dozen events Bob competes in each year.
He also rides to work two-three times a week. His vacation plans this year will start off with a leisurely ride to Rhode Island, a mere 115 miles!
Amazingly, Bob rides about 5,000 miles every year!
