Libraries Catalog the Savings

During these challenging times of ever tighter municipal budgets, libraries are turning to NSI TotalCare to save money, time and resources.

TotalCare works with the Connecticut Library Consortium, now serving libraries in the towns of Avon, Burlington, Cromwell and Wethersfield.

"Signing up for NSI's TotalCare package with remote support has been a great advantage and money saver for the Avon Free Public Library," said Donna Miller, Assistant Library Director for the Avon Free Public Library. "Instead of calling a technician to our site for every problem (and paying time plus travel), with remote login to each individual PC we have been able to quickly resolve some serious virus threats and follow up with some tweaks after a technician made some changes and had already left."

TotalCare monitors the libraries' IT 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, identifying, diagnosing and resolving complex IT issues before they become an issue.

"We find this a very timely and efficient way to solve some problems and keep our PCs functioning properly," Miller said.

Right now NSI is offering libraries a 30-day trial of TotalCare at no charge.
