New Business Partners
Innovative Solutions to Simplify IT Management

NSI is proud to announce two new Business Partners that are leaders in the delivery of “hosted” managed services. “We believe Everdream and SilverBack represent the future of IT,” said Tom McDonald, Chief Operating Officer of NSI. “Their unique solutions to IT management will deliver tremendous savings to our customers.”

SilverBack delivers IT monitoring and security software designed specifically for the needs of mid-tier organizations. Silverback has integrated enterprise-class network, systems, application and security capabilities into one Web-based package that is affordable, deploys in hours, and is easy to maintain and use. With SilverBack you can correlate network events with security issues and prioritize real threats vs. changes in network activity. Silverback can be installed in hours rather than months and for 60-percent less cost than many of the big “all-in-one” platforms.

Everdream replaces the labor & capital intensive process of managing the PC infrastructure of small and medium sized businesses with low-cost PC management services that are delivered securely over the Internet. Everdream is deployed rapidly, provides full support for remote and mobile workers, and removes the need for your IT staff to install and maintain PC management software. Everdram's proactive services will improve the security of your PCs and ensure that your systems remain up and running 24/7.

“Both Everdream and Silverback will reduce your capital expenses, provide predictable expense control, lower your total cost of ownership, and enable better alignment with your IT objectives,” McDonald said. “You will also experience improved productivity and protection.”

Open Source VoIP
Giving SMBs More Control

Pingtel is transforming the way enterprises deploy IP voice communications with the industry's first field-proven, SIP-based open source enterprise communications suite.

Unlike proprietary VoIP solutions currently available, Pingtel's SIPxchange communications suite gives small to medium sized businesses control over when and how to deploy VoIP technologies. As the industry's only open source SIP-based IP PBX, SIPxchange not only removes the barriers that have prevented rapid and pervasive deployment of enterprise VoIP, but also delivers freedom from vendor technology lock-ins. “Organizations benefit from more flexibility in terms of integration and lower total cost of ownership,” said Tom McDonald, NSI Chief Operating Officer.

Combining an open source business model with the industry's de facto VoIP standard enables Pingtel to deliver a field-proven IP telephony portfolio at a cost point unmatched by today's hardware-centric IP telephony vendors. SIP and Linux also offer superior flexibility and don't lock customers in to expensive proprietary add-on hardware and software products. Pingtel estimates capital costs for a SIPxchange system are less than half what they would be for a comparable proprietary solution.

According to VoIP Planet (magazine) Pingtel, “marks the beginning of a new phase in the evolution of enterprise VoIP.”
