Protecting Consumers
New Role for NSI Sales Exec

Instead of looking out for the best interests of NSI's customers, Kevin DelGobbo is now protecting the interests of all Connecticut consumers.

Governor M. Jodi Rell recently nominated DelGobbo to be a Commissioner of the state Department of Public Utility Control. The DPUC regulates the rates and services of Connecticut's electric, natural gas, water and telecommunication companies and is the franchising authority for the state's cable television companies.

DelGobbo will be taking over the commissionership reserved for a utility customer advocate.

"Kevin is uniquely qualified to safeguard the interests of Connecticut residents," said Tom McDonald, President of NSI. "He has always had a keen eye for detail and a passion for doing the right thing."

DelGobbo served in the Connecticut House of Representatives since 1997 and was a member of the Energy & Technology Committees.

"We are grateful for Kevin's contributions through the years and wish him well in this new endeavor," McDonald said.
