| NSI Helps to Close The Digital Divide |
NSI is proud to have been selected by IBM to assist with providing wireless enabled PCs to the City of Hartford as part of Mayor Eddie Perez'
initiative called “ Hartford 's People Have the Power”.Currently, less than a third of Hartford households are connected to the Internet. The mayor's goal is to provide free wireless Internet access to Hartford residents, as well as low-cost PCs, over the next two years. “Gaining these high-tech skills is just one way we must prepare our young people with a solid educational foundation so that they can compete for the jobs of the 21 st Century,” Mayor Perez said. |
