The nation's 3rd largest pen maker, Pilot Pen of America, has selected NSI and our partner VAI to improve its information management. The complete accounting and inventory control system will be installed at Pilot Pen's Connecticut headquarters and it will facilitate improved coordination of manufacturing and distribution activities out of its plant in Florida. According to NSI Vice President Robert Guerra, it was important to Pilot Pen that the VAI solution be able to run on their IBM System i server. But leveraging that existing investment was not the only selling point. "They also liked the report generation capabilities and the ease of use," Guerra said. "Plus, there are significant cost savings based on annual license renewals."
